• Work with a broad team to identify problems and questions that can be answered by a diary survey
• Learn about development and deployment process of a diary study
• Recruit and train a diverse participant pool
• Assess and present data gathered through a diary study

Workplan

August

• Work with User Experience team and possibly other departments to identify programmatic goals of survey
• Contact Organizational Strategy department
• Assess IRB approval needs and begin IRB process if needed
• Identify potential population(s) for recruitment

September

• Design study instrument in collaboration with UX team
• Develop and refine questions
• Develop survey instrument and procedure
• Recruit and train diary study participants

October/November

• Deploy survey and support participants through study period
• Gather survey data and prepare report
